How do I save a place?
On the Map tab, tap the blue + button. Search for the place by name and the address fills in automatically, or tap Use Current Location. Add a name, category, photos, rating, and notes, then tap Save.

Email supportCome Back One Day Journey is a personal map of the places you've been — restaurants, bars and pubs, hotels, food markets, and anywhere else worth remembering. Save a place with photos, a rating, notes, and its website, then find your way back whenever you like.
On the Map tab, tap the blue + button. Search for the place by name and the address fills in automatically, or tap Use Current Location. Add a name, category, photos, rating, and notes, then tap Save.
Quick Camera. Tap it to take a photo and save the place on the spot — your location is tagged automatically. Handy when you're standing right there and don't want to fill in a form.
Open the place, tap the … menu, then Edit. In the Photos section, drag a photo to the front, or press and hold it and choose Set as Cover. The first photo is the one used on map pins and in your list.
Open a place and choose Drive, Walk, Bike, or Transit. Apple Maps opens with directions to that spot.
Open it and tap Delete Place at the bottom, or swipe left on it in the Places list. You'll be asked to confirm.
Open the place and tap the share icon at the top right. Your friend receives the photo, the details, and a map link they can tap for directions.
The message includes an extra link that adds the place straight to their own map. Photos aren't included in that link — they'll get the place details and can add their own photos.
Yes. Your places sync privately through your own iCloud account, so they appear on your other iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. There's no separate sign-up.
Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and have iCloud Drive turned on, and that the app is allowed to use iCloud in the Settings app. Pull down on the Places list to sync straight away.
Open the Settings app, find Come Back One Day, and set Location to While Using the App. Without it the map opens at a default region instead of where you are.
In the Settings app, find Come Back One Day and allow adding to Photos. Photos are still saved inside the app either way.
You can change any permission at any time. The app keeps working without them, with the related feature switched off.
Your places, photos, and notes stay on your device and in your own iCloud account. We never receive them, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking.
